Sept 2022 update: I nearly died because Dan did not wash his hands, brought home a deadly virus that infected sinus, lungs & throat swelled so bad we could not drink water without extreme pain.. If you are on a low salicylate diet (allergic to aspirin) you can eat no fruit or other salicylate food and may be able to tolerate one raw okra daily (I prefer frozen chopped okra keeps in my freezer better than whole) and by only eating foods with no salicylates like chicken,eggs, cabbage or soup with organic chicken and yogurt until you get well enough to stop eating okra. I often went for a year without okra and maintained my health as okra is not always available in far north where I live & I had to fight over 30 years to get stores to stock it and create a consumer demand. Okra is a binder trapping toxic mold mycotoxins & chemicals -if you are on drugs or supplements - eat 7 hours apart as okra will reduce the strength of drugs & supplements; which are chemicals. updated: 2021 ADD to my bedroom section - sleep and mattress is the most important area of your life! Update May 2021 - my mattress is organic extremely expensive & most people sick cannot afford it. I have nerve damage to my hip from a tumour & my mattress was necessary or I'd need surgery with metal parts which i did not want. Organic cotton futon mattress very cheap are available - Google & get your bedroom safe, sleep on nontoxic mattress to control all "allergies" MCH & EI etc. My bedroom is my work area as well as where I sleep & I spend most of my time in my bedroom it has air filter & air conditioning - it is my environmentally safe healing room. I have travelled but carried an activated charcoal portable filter with me for over 20 years, today I just use a Merv11 furnace filter (take it apart) and wrap the material around a fan, have one in my bedroom, living room plus air conditioning (note: I threw out all window a/c cannot be cleaned and changed to portable stand up air conditioners very easy to clean, all are necessary for me as I am heat sensitive and cannot function in heat above 80 degrees F. or 20 C. Winter I have to bubble wrap and seal as traffic fumes, stove pipe smoke will leak in once I shut the air conditioner off. Making my apt safe has taken decades of research to figure it out but it can be done. Sudbury, Ontario is a highly toxic red neck mining town with no pollution laws required on any vehicles.
MAY 14, 2022: UPDATE: *MOLD POISONING & DETOX HAS BEEN ADDED TO MY #OKRA4LIFE DIET & LIFESTYLE RESEARCH UPDATE 2021 BUT FOR A QUICK FIX THIS IS HOW I SAVED DAN'S LIFE FEB 2021. What saved his life was a complicated method of one cup chopped frozen okra adding last to veg soup, as I tried activated charcoal and it did not work. It took me 3 weeks to reverse the brain damage and inflammation as well as he had to walk 4-5 times a day in clean fresh air to detox the mold mycotoxins from his brain, liver and organs. Then a program of a few pieces of frozen okra in our daily smoothie which I have recorded in the #okra4life diet research program. When he was too sick to eat I gave him melted chopped frozen okra with organic goat milk yogurt which is very easy to digest and stop any oxalate problems (which normally he does not have). Mold poisoning did a great deal of damage as he was eating the energy bars for 5 days despite how sick they made him until the pain got so bad he became suicidal! It was only then that Dan told me what was going on.. however; after 6 months Dan has fully recovered. I was poisoned by mold on organic prunes April 2021 nearly died and research for over a year to find a way to recover fully.
